U87-MG/STAT5 Reporter (Luc) cells are derived from the human glioblastoma cell line U87-MG by stably integration of a STAT5 firefly luciferase reporter construct. U87-MG cells are used to study the biology of glioblastoma, the mechanisms involved in glioma progression and therapeutic resistance, as well as to evaluate new therapeutic strategies, including chemotherapies, gene therapies, and immunotherapies. U87-MG/STAT5 Reporter (Luc) cells stably express firefly luciferase under the control of the STAT5 response elements, can be used for monitoring the activity of STAT5 signaling pathway.
