Cre recombinase lentivirus

Lentivirus expressing Cre or Cre-GFP

Overview

Cre recombinase is a tyrosine recombinase enzyme derived from the P1 Bacteriophage. The enzyme is a member of the integrase family of site- specific recombinase and it is known to catalyse the site specific recombination event between two DNA recognition sites (loxP sites). We provide premade lentiviruses expressing Cre recombinase with or without GFP.

The features of our premade lentiviruses include:

  • High functional titer of 1x10^8 TU/ml: Functionally titrated on mammalian cells
  • Purity high enough for both in vitro and in vivo use
  • Serum-free: Great for serum sensitive applications
  • Stored in LentiShieldTM lentivirus storage buffer to prevent titer loss during freeze-thaw cycles and temperature fluctuation
  • Ready-to-use, provided with polybrene for transduction
