U87-MG/NF-kB Reporter (Luc) cells are derived from the human glioblastoma cell line U87-MG by stably integration of a NF-kB firefly luciferase reporter construct. U87-MG cells are used to study the biology of glioblastoma, the mechanisms involved in glioma progression and therapeutic resistance, as well as to evaluate new therapeutic strategies, including chemotherapies, gene therapies, and immunotherapies. U87-MG/NF-kB Reporter (Luc) cells stably express firefly luciferase under the control of the NF-kB response elements, can be used for monitoring the activity of NF-kB signaling pathway.
