With our lentivirus platform, we can generate stable cell line in almost all types of mammalian cells. Lentivirus stably integrate into host’s genome after transduction, allowing long-term stably, high-level gene expression. The high efficiency of transduction by lentivirus provides us chances to generate more single cell clones with different expression levels to meet your needs. Besides virus-based cell line generation, we also generate stable cell lines using plasmids or other methods as required.

Stable Cell Line Generation Workflow:
Deliverables/Lead Time
Deliverables: Two vials of cells at 2x10^6 cells/vial. Store another two vials at FenicsBIO's facility until shipped cells are recovered successfully.
Lead Time: Typically 3-4 weeks for pooled stable cells and 6-8 weeks for clonal stable cells, may vary according to the cell types.
QC Testing
The Q/C testing for our Stable Cell Line Generation includes:
- Restriction digestion pattern and sequence verification for the constructs generated
- Verification of target gene expression, including Western blot, FACS, RT-PCR and other assays required
- Mycoplasma test (Optional)
Project Initiation
Phase I: Project information collection
Our technical team will work with you to figure out the details of your stable cell line generation requirements, including parental cell line to use, whether you want to use lentivirus or other methods to generate the stable cell lines, whether you need us to generate the construct and produce the lentivirus, whether you need stable cell pools or clonal stable cells, the method you want to use for verification of gene expression.
Phase II: Project plan approval
Based on the above information you provided, our project manager will formulate a project plan and send you a quotation. After approved the project plan, you can use the quotation to place an order.
Phase III: Starting material shipment
The starting material may include parental cell lines, plasmid used for generating stable cell line or DNA template for subcloning, antibodies for Western blot or FACS.
