Overview

Signaling pathway reporters provide rapid and sensitive ways to measure signaling pathway activation or inhibition by DNAs, RNAs, proteins and small molecules. FenicsBIO provides premade signaling pathway reporter lentiviruses with GFP, RFP and/or Firefly luciferase as reporter genes, ready-to-use for monitoring signal transduction in almost all mammalian cells.  

Most of our signaling pathway reporters use multiple repeats of a specific transcription factor’s binding site and basic promoter elements to drive the expression of reporter gene(s) (firefly luciferase or/and GFP), enabling rapid and sensitive assessments of signal transduction qualitatively and quantitatively.

The features of our premade lentiviruses include:

• High functional titer of 1x10^8 TU/ml: Functionally titrated on mammalian cells
• Purity high enough for both in vitro and in vivo use
• Serum-free: Great for serum sensitive applications
• Stored in LentiShield^TM lentivirus storage buffer to prevent titer loss during freeze-thaw cycles and temperature fluctuation
• Ready-to-use, provided with polybrene for transduction

Positive controls:

• Renilla luciferase lentivirus (CMV, Hyg) for firefly luciferase reporters and GFP-luciferase reporters
• RFP lentivirus (CMV, Hyg) for GFP reporters and GFP-luciferase reporters

• GFP lentivirus (CMV, Hyg) for RFP reporters

Negative controls:

• Firefly luciferase lentivirus (promoterless, puro) for firefly luciferase reporters

• GFP lentivirus (promoterless, puro) for GFP reporters

• RFP lentivirus (promoterless, puro) for RFP reporters

• GFP-luciferase lentivirus (promoterless, puro) for GFP-luciferase reporters
