Overview

Primary cells normally undergo limited numbers of cell divisions and reach senescence. Immortalization of primary cells is important for establishing cell models for in vitro studies and drug screening. Several methods have been used to immortalize primary cells. We provide comprehensive ready-to-use lentiviruses expressing human telomerase reverse transcriptase protein (hTERT), simian virus 40 (SV40) T antigen, and HPV-16 E6/E7 under the control of different promoters and with different antibiotic selection markers/reporters.
