PANC-1/RFP cells are derived from the human pancreas adenocarcinoma PANC-1 cell line by stably integration of a constitutive RFP stably expression construct. PANC-1 cell line has been widely used to investigate signaling pathways and gene expression related to pancreatic cancer, study interactions between cancer cells and surrounding stromal cells, and assess the efficacy of chemotherapy and targeted therapies. PANC-1/RFP cells stably express RFP, can be used for in vitro assays and in vivo imaging.
