PANC-1/Luciferase cells are derived from the human pancreas adenocarcinoma PANC-1 cell line by stably integration of a constitutive Firefly luciferase stably expression construct. PANC-1 cell line has been widely used to investigate signaling pathways and gene expression related to pancreatic cancer, study interactions between cancer cells and surrounding stromal cells, and assess the efficacy of chemotherapy and targeted therapies. PANC-1/Luciferase cells stably express Firefly luciferase, can be used for in vitro assays and in vivo imaging.
