MIA PaCa-2/RFP cells are derived from the human pancreas carcinoma MIA PaCa-2 cell line by stably integration of a constitutive RFP stably expression construct. MIA PaCa-2 cells are widely used to study pancreatic cancer biology and to evaluate the effectiveness of new drugs and targeted therapies for treating pancreatic cancer. MIA PaCa-2/RFP cells stably express RFP, can be used for in vitro assays and in vivo imaging.
