MCF7/GFP-beta actin cells are derived from the human breast cancer cell line MCF7 by stably integration of a GFP fused beta actin construct. MCF7 cells are estrogen receptor-positive (ER+), making them a valuable model for studying hormone-dependent breast cancers and testing estrogen-related therapies. MCF7/GFP-beta actin cells stably express a GFP-beta actin fusion protein, can be used to observe actin filaments and their dynamics in real-time within living cells, gain a deeper understanding of the cytoskeletal changes associated with cancer and develop new therapeutic strategies targeting these processes.
