MAD2 (mitotic arrest deficient 2) is a component of the mitotic spindle assembly checkpoint that prevents the onset of anaphase until all chromosomes are properly aligned at the metaphase plate. MAD2 was showed to be associated with tumor differentation. MAD2 lentivirus (CMV, Puro) expresses human MAD2 under the control of the CMV promoter, with puromycin as a selection marker.
