Overview
Lentiviral Firefly luciferase reporter cloning vector (Puro) is a third generation lentiviral vector, with your promoter of interest to drive firefly luciferase expression and PGK promoter to drive selection marker puromycin. This vector is compatible with both 2nd and 3rd generation packaging systems.
Clone your promoter into the Lentiviral Firefly luciferase reporter cloning vector (Puro), then co-transfect with selected Lentivirus Packaging System into packaging cells, such as HEK293T cells to produce lentivirus. Lentivirus transduced cells can be selected by puromycin to generate stable cell lines. Change of promoter activity can be measured by luciferase assay.
