HT-29/Cre cells are derived from the human colon cancer cell line HT-29 by stably integration of a constitutive Cre recombinase stably expression construct. HT-29 cell line has been widely used to study molecular mechanism under cancer development, including tumor growth, invasion, and metastasis, as well as identify potential therapeutic targets. HT-29/Cre cells stably express a nuclear localized Cre recombinase.
