HEL 92.1.7/Cre cells are derived from the human erythroblast HEL 92.1.7 cell line by stably integration of a constitutive Cre recombinase stably expression construct. The HEL 92.1.7 cell line is a valuable tool for understanding the molecular mechanisms underlying chronic myelogenous leukemia (CML) and for testing potential treatment. HEL 92.1.7/Cre cells stably express a nuclear localized Cre recombinase under the control of a CMV promoter.
