HCC827/NF-kB Reporter (Luc) cells are derived from the human lung adenocarcinoma HCC827 cell line by stably integration of a NF-kB firefly luciferase reporter construct. HCC827 cells are widely used in cancer research, particularly in studies related to lung cancer biology and drug discovery. HCC827 cells carry a mutation in the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene, which results in constitutive activation of the EGFR signaling pathway, have been used as a model system to study the mechanisms of EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) and to evaluate the efficacy of these drugs in preclinical studies. HCC827 /NF-kB Reporter (Luc) cells stably express firefly luciferase under the control of the NF-kB response elements, can be used for monitoring the activity of NF-kB signaling pathway.
