HCC827/GFP-luciferase cells are derived from the human lung adenocarcinoma HCC827 cell line by stably integration of a constitutive GFP and Firefly luciferase stably expression construct. HCC827 cells are widely used in cancer research, particularly in studies related to lung cancer biology and drug discovery. HCC827 cells carry a mutation in the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene, which results in constitutive activation of the EGFR signaling pathway, have been used as a model system to study the mechanisms of EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) and to evaluate the efficacy of these drugs in preclinical studies. HCC827 /GFP-luciferase cells stably express GFP and Firefly luciferase, can be used for in vitro assays and in vivo imaging.
