HCC827/Cre stable cell line

Catalog number
CL-1866
Description
HCC827/Cre cells are derived from the human lung adenocarcinoma HCC827 cell line by stably integration of a constitutive Cre recombinase stably expression construct. HCC827 cells are widely used in cancer research, particularly in studies related to lung cancer biology and drug discovery. HCC827 cells carry a mutation in the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) gene, which results in constitutive activation of the EGFR signaling pathway, have been used as a model system to study the mechanisms of EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) and to evaluate the efficacy of these drugs in preclinical studies. HCC827 /Cre cells stably express a nuclear localized Cre recombinase.
