GFP has been widely used as reporters for in vitro and in vivo studies, including in vivo imaging. This premade lentivirus expresses GFP under the control of the the spleen focus-forming virus (SFFV) promoter with puromycin as a selection marker. The SFFV promoter is stronger in primary hematopoietic cells or hematopoietic cell lines than many commonly used promoters.
