EMT6/Cre cells are derived from the mouse mammary carcinoma cell line EMT6 by stably integration of a constitutive Cre recombinase stably expression construct. EMT6 cells are widely used as a model system in studies related to tumor biology, metastasis, and the development and evaluation of anticancer therapies. EMT6/Cre cells stably express a nuclear localized Cre recombinase.
