CRX is a homeodomain transcription factor and one of the key regulator genes of photoreceptor formation. CRX play an important role in transdifferentiation of photoreceptor cells. CRX lentivirus (TET-inducible, Puro) expresses human CRX under the control of the Tet responsive promoter, with puromycin as a selection marker.
